Kerala-based Popees Baby Care Products Ltd, which operates the Popees baby and kids-wear brand, is planning to expand its presence across India, backed by revenue growth, manufacturing capabilities and opportunities in the baby care segment.
The company reported a nearly 20 per cent increase in revenue from operations to ₹161.93 crore in FY26, from ₹135.30 crore in the previous financial year. Net profit rose around 14 per cent to ₹8.37 crore from ₹7.37 crore in FY25, strengthening its financial position to support expansion.
Popees plans to widen its reach beyond its established South Indian markets, targeting families seeking quality products for new-borns and growing children. Its portfolio includes baby and children’s clothing, diapers, wipes, toiletries, infant essentials, maternity wear, footwear and other baby care products.
The company operates three manufacturing facilities across Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, with a combined installed production capacity of approximately nine lakh sets a month. Its manufacturing network, supported by an established retail and distribution presence, is expected to facilitate expansion into new markets.
