on Monday disclosed a clutch of strategic moves, including the sale of its hotel asset and a new park acquisition, as it reported a 6 per cent dip in visitor footfalls for the July-September quarter of FY27.
The Mumbai-listed amusement and water park operator said its Board has approved the sale of Novotel Imagicaa to Juniper Hotels Ltd (JHL) for ₹248 crore. A binding Memorandum of Understanding was signed with JHL in the first week of October 2026, signalling the company’s intent to monetise non-core hospitality assets.
On the capital front, the company completed full conversion of 2,34,82,500 convertible warrants into equity shares after receiving the balance 75 per cent subscription amount of ₹129.45 crore from promoters and identified non-promoter investors. The warrants were issued at ₹73.50 apiece, and no warrants remain outstanding.
In a portfolio expansion move, Imagicaaworld acquired a 50 per cent stake in Mehsana Next Parks Private Ltd, the special purpose vehicle that owns and operates Shanku’s Water Park in Mehsana, located between Ahmedabad and Gift City.
Looking ahead to Q3 FY27, the company said it will launch its first Hello Park indoor entertainment venue at Lakeshore Mall in Hyderabad through its wholly owned subsidiary, Imagicaa Next Private Limited, marking its entry into the indoor entertainment segment.
On footfalls, consolidated visitor count across all parks stood at 2.1 lakh for Q2 FY27, down from 2.25 lakh in the same quarter last year, with the company attributing the decline primarily to heavy rainfall in July and August 2026 across key catchment areas.
Imagicaaworld shares were trading at ₹46.02 on the NSE on Monday afternoon, down about 1 per cent on the day, giving the company a market capitalisation of approximately ₹2,604 crore. The stock has declined roughly 11 per cent over the past year.
