Shares of ACME Solar Holdings Limited were trading at ₹258.25 up by ₹0.65 or 0.25 per cent on the today at 11.30 am.
has commissioned the first phase of its inaugural in Gujarat, adding 26.4 MW to its operational capacity. The milestone brings the company’s total operational renewable generation capacity to 2,731.4 MW.
The project, located in Shapar, Gujarat, represents the initial phase of a larger 50 MW wind power facility that will be commissioned in stages. ACME executed the project through its wholly owned subsidiary, ACME Pokhran Solar Private Limited, using in-house engineering, procurement and construction capabilities.
The wind farm deploys Envision 3.3 MW turbines and was financed by Power Finance Corporation. The facility is strategically positioned in one of India’s highest wind resource regions. Generated power feeds into a 33/220 kV pooling station before evacuation through a dedicated 220 kV transmission line to the Shapar sub-station.
ACME Pokhran has secured a 25-year power purchase agreement with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited for the electricity generated. The sub-station infrastructure will also serve another upcoming 100 MW wind project currently under advanced construction.
ACME Solar Holdings maintains a diversified renewable energy portfolio totaling 6,970 MW across solar, wind, floating solar and hybrid solutions. With the latest commissioning, the company operates 2,731.4 MW while another 4,238.6 MW remains at various implementation stages.
