Radico Khaitan shares slip; Rampur whisky gets global recognition  

traded 0.19 per cent lower at ₹2,847.20 on Monday afternoon, despite the company’s Rampur Indian Single Malt whisky breaking into the prestigious World’s 50 Most Admired Whiskies list, the company recently announced. The stock opened at ₹2,852.50 and touched a high of ₹2,876.40 before declining.

The recognition from Drinks International Magazine represents a significant milestone for the IMFL manufacturer, marking Rampur’s debut in the globally respected ranking. The survey draws insights from leading global experts, bar owners, head bartenders, and trade professionals across 100 celebrated bars worldwide, evaluating factors including quality, consistency, price-to-quality ratio, and branding strength.

Managing Director Abhishek Khaitan attributed the recognition to the company’s global strategy focused on authenticity and premiumisation. President of International Business Sanjeev Banga highlighted Rampur’s creative approach and flavor depth as key differentiators.

Radico Khaitan, established in 1943, operates as one of India’s largest IMFL manufacturers with distilleries in Rampur, Sitapur, and Aurangabad. The company exports to over 100 countries and maintains a diverse portfolio including Magic Moments Vodka, Jaisalmer Gin, and multiple whisky brands.

Trading volume remained modest at 0.49 lakh shares worth ₹13.85 crores. The stock’s 52-week high stands at ₹2,940, achieved on August 1, 2025.
