Shares of Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders gained 2.5 per cent in early trade on Tuesday following a 28 per cent y-o-y increase in profit after tax in Q2FY26.
The company reported a consolidated net profit of ₹749.48 crore for the quarter ended September 2025 as against ₹585.08 crore in the same quarter last year.
Revenue from operations rose by 6 per cent y-o-y to ₹2,929.24 crore during the quarter under review from ₹2,756.83 crore in the year-ago period.
The board declared first interim dividend of ₹6 per share of ₹5 each fully paid-up for the FY25-26. The company fixed record date as November 4, 2025, and informed that the payment shall be completed on or before November 26, 2025.
The stock traded 2 per cent positive at ₹2,863.85 on the BSE at 9.43 am, hitting a early high of ₹2,882.85.
