Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd on Monday said it has secured a Rs 132-crore order from Touax Texmaco Railcar Leasing Pvt Ltd (TTRL), its joint venture with France-based Touax Group, for the supply of rakes. Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd has been declared as the successful bidder under Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding to establish the Inter-State Transmission System for the project “Inter-Regional Strengthening between SR Grid and ER Grid” on a Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis. Powergrid received the Letter of Intent (LoI) on December 15. The project comprises 765 kV D/c transmission lines traversing Odisha & Andhra Pradesh, along with associated line bays and reactor works at both ends.
Deccan Gold Mines informed the exchanges that Geomysore has intimated that its Jonnagiri Gold Project in Andhra Pradesh has successfully completed trial runs through the full processing circuit, and all the equipment and process flows have been firmly established. The plant’s performance is as envisaged during the feasibility studies. During the trial, about 40kg of dore bar has been produced. The project is currently transitioning to commercial production. Eventually, the project will produce refined gold for commercial sale.
