GAIL (India) has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Chhattisgarh for development of a greenfield gas-based fertiliser project in the state of Chhattisgarh. As per the MoU, GAIL will undertake detailed techno-economic studies for setting up a urea manufacturing plant of 12.7 lakh metric tonnes (LMT), proposed to be strategically located along GAIL’s Mumbai–Nagpur–Jharsuguda Natural Gas Pipeline (MNJPL) corridor. Based on the techno-economic evaluation, investment decision will be taken for setting up the fertiliser project by GAIL.

The board of Ola Electric Technologies Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Ola Electric Mobility, has approved the third tranche of allotment of 10 crore convertible redeemable preference shares to Ola Cell. After obtaining shareholders’ approval to revise the use of IPO proceeds, its wholly owned subsidiary Ola Electric Technologies has approved a third tranche of funding of ₹100 crore by issuing 10 crore optionally convertible redeemable preference shares to Ola Cell Technologies, another group subsidiary, through a private placement.

The EPC cost is approx. ₹147 crore (including GST).

GPT Infraprojects Ltd has received a contract from CAO/CON, Gorakhpur, North Eastern Railway totalling ₹199.2 crore. The contract involves construction of substructure including fabrication of superstructure & its launching for Important Bridge No. 247 (10×61.0 m) and 287 (10×61.0 m) with double D-type well foundation for double line with RDSO 25 T axle loading standard over river Rapti between Balrampur–Bahraich stations in connection with new line work between Khalilabad–Bahraich section of North Eastern Railway.



GNFC has entered into a contract with Toyo Engineering India Private Limited (Toyo) for supply of Ammonium Nitrate—II plant on LEPC basis. Toyo has a tie-up with INCRO, S.A., Spain, for supply of process know-how and licence for Ammonium Nitrate—II plant.
