Over 12 stocks: Ola Electric Mobility, Paras Defence, HPCL, Waaree twins, GMDC, Sanghvi Movers, Lemon Tree to remain in focus on Tuesday (January 20)

Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd has announced a strategic expansion into semiconductors with the launch of new subsidiary, Paras Semiconductor Pvt. Ltd.. Paras Defence would also be setting up an exclusive advanced heterogeneous & 3D packaging OSAT facility focused on Semiconductor Devices for Optical and Optronic Systems for Defence and Security High-Performance Computing (HPC), networking and data centre applications. Paras aims to make it a domestic hub for chiplet integration and advanced system-in-package (SiP) technologies.

The board of Ola Electric Mobility has approved the appointment of Deepak Rastogi as the company’s chief financial officer with effect from January 20. Rastogi will also serve as a key managerial personnel and will be part of the company’s senior management team, the company said in a disclosure to the stock exchanges. Harish Abichandani has resigned from the position of chief financial officer, effective from the close of business on January 19, 2026.

Suyog Gurbaxani Funicular Ropeways Ltd said the ropeway project at Haji Malang in Malang Gad, Maharashtra, has been successfully completed and was inaugurated on 18 January, 2026. Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) and Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Company (ALNG), UAE have signed a Sale Purchase Agreement (SPA) for procurement of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) for a 10-year term. ALNG is a subsidiary of ADNOC Gas, which is a global, large-scale integrated gas processing and sales company operating across the gas value chain.

Suzlon Group is strengthening its global leadership structure to drive the next phase of international growth under its Suzlon 2.0 strategy, with the appointment of Paulo Fernando Soares as President – Europe. Paulo will lead Suzlon’s European operations with a mandate to develop regional capabilities, forge strategic partnerships, strengthen customer engagement, and drive market access across Europe. His role will also encompass building a robust organisational framework to ensure long-term success across European markets. Suzlon currently operates in 17 countries globally.



Waaree Energies Ltd has received an order for supply of 210 MW DCR solar modules from a customer engaged in owning, developing and operating renewable power projects in India. Further, Waaree Solar Americas Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, also received an order on January 19, 2026 for supply of 2000 MW solar modules from a developer and owner-operator of utility scale solar and energy storage projects across the United States.

Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd has signed a contract for the execution of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) works of a Ground Mounted Solar PV Plant of 10MWac/14MWp in Uttar Pradesh on a turnkey basis.

Sanghvi Movers Botswana Proprietary Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sanghvi Movers Ltd, has been awarded a work order worth $4.3 million from Jindal Energy Botswana (Pty) Ltd. Sanghvi Movers Botswana Proprietary Ltd will supply the cranes along with the agreed material/ manpower to Jindal Energy Botswana (Pty) Ltd at the agreed terms and conditions and as per the contract requirement.

Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd. (GMDC) has taken a strategic step in its rare earths journey as the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), the premier R&D institute under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), has transferred an indigenous rare earth processing technology to the corporation for its Ambadungar Rare Earth Project. The technology transfer event took place in BARC Campus, Trombay in the presence of The Director, BARC and The Director, Materials Group – BARC, along with the officials of GMDC Ltd.

Trishakti Industries Ltd has secured a work order from Afcons Infrastructure Ltd for the deployment of advanced machinery and skilled manpower at one of their flagship project sites. In line with the execution of this contract, the company has undertaken a fresh capital expenditure of approximately ₹7.2 crore inclusive of taxes, towards the acquisition of advanced machinery.

Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd, a midscale hotel chain, has announced the signing of its latest property – Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels, Khurpatal, Uttarakhand. The property will be managed by Carnation Hotels Pvt Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd.

Highway Infrastructure Ltd has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) of ₹64,68,99,930 for operations at Mundka Fee Plaza at Km 22+750 for the project development of UER-11 (NH-344M & NH-344N) in Delhi and Haryana. The Letter of Award (LOA) was issued by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

Niraj Cement Structurals Ltd (JV) has received work orders from Northeast Frontier Railway for construction of substructure and superstructure for Bridge No. 312/A Chainage 199/3-4 km (over State Highway) between Bilasipara-Chapar stations in connection with the New MaynaguriJogighopa New B.G. Line Project valued at ₹50.95 crore including GST; and construction of nine minor bridges, construction of balance wing walls/return walls, etc. of various major bridges, providing and fixing height gauges in various Road Under Bridges (RUBs) along with miscellaneous and ancillary works under Dy. CE/Con/NJP in the Araria-Galgalia Project and also fixing height gauges in RNI-BPMS siding, valued at ₹179.11 crore including GST.
