Cumin Co bags $5 million in pre-Series A funding led by Fireside Ventures

-based kitchenware brand Cumin Co. has raised $5 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Fireside Ventures, with participation from existing investors Huddle Ventures and Alteria Capital.

The round also saw investments from Atrium Angels, including founders from companies such as Mokobara, Tracxn, Zomato, Panthera Peak, Zop Smart, Unacademy and Leap Finance.

Founded by Niharika Joshi and Udit Lekhi, Cumin Co. operates in the premium kitchenware segment with a research-led approach to product development.

The company said the funding follows the achievement of product–market fit (PMF) and a reported tenfold revenue growth within eight months of launch.

The founders said, “Consumers today are asking sharper questions about materials, coatings, and what comes into contact with their food every day,” adding that a research-and engineering-driven approach has helped the brand build trust and scale sustainably.

The company plans to use the capital to expand its R&D-led product portfolio and strengthen its supply chain and innovation capabilities as it scales its presence across Indian markets.
