Piccadily Agro shares edge up after awards sweep

Shares of closed at ₹592.90 on Wednesday, up 0.32 per cent from the previous close of ₹591.00, as investors reacted to a press release issued the previous trading day announcing a string of international awards for the company’s spirits portfolio.

The stock touched an intraday high of ₹608.80 before paring gains, with a volume-weighted average price of ₹597.60. Traded volume stood at 0.78 lakh shares, with a traded value of ₹4.66 crore. Deliverable quantity accounted for 55.48 per cent of total trades, suggesting a moderate level of conviction among buyers.

The Haryana-based distiller, with a total market capitalisation of ₹5,891.62 crore, is listed on the NIFTY MICROCAP 250 index and trades at a price-to-earnings ratio of 42.40.

The company announced that its Indri Agneya single malt was awarded 95 points and named Indian Single Malt Whisky of the Year at the London Spirits Competition 2026. The company’s Cashmir Vodka scored 96 points and received a Double Gold at the same event. At the Asian Spirits Masters 2026, Piccadily secured Master Awards — the competition’s top honour — for Indri Trini, Indri Dru, and Camikara Rum 8-Year-Old, while Camikara Rum 3-Year-Old received a Gold Medal.
