TVS Motor reports 17% increase in consolidated net profit to ₹819 crore in Q4 of FY26

TVS Motor Company Ltd reported a 17 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to ₹819 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2026, against ₹697 crore for the corresponding period last year. Revenue increased by 34 per cent to ₹15,053 crore (₹11,542 crore) as vehicle sales grew.

For FY26, the company reported a 34 per cent increase in net profit to ₹3,186 crore (₹2,380 crore) on a 37 per cent increase in revenue to ₹56,069 crore (₹44,089 crore).

On a standalone basis, the company’s net profit for Q4 increased by 31 per cent to ₹998 crore (₹761 crore) on 34 per cent increase in revenue to ₹12,808 crore (₹9,550 crore). For the year, net profit was up 37 per cent to ₹3,615 crore (₹2,634 crore) on 30 per cent increase in revenue to ₹47,271 crore (₹36,251 crore).

The Board declared an interim dividend of ₹12 per share (1,200 per cent), during its meeting in March, absorbing ₹570 crore for FY26.

During the quarter, the company made investments of ₹684 crore in its subsidiaries. It also disinvested its entire stake in Roppen Transportation Services Pvt Ltd and realised a sum of ₹288 crore as against the investment of ₹114 crore. The gain of ₹174 crore has been recognised as fair valuation gain under other comprehensive income during the previous periods, the company said in its financial statement.

The company also said that a scheme of amalgamation of Sundaram Auto Components Ltd, (a wholly-owned subsidiary) with TVS Motor was approved by the NCLT, Chennai Bench in May 2026.



Other income for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, includes ₹53 crore being loss on fair valuation of investments held by the company.

Sales Q4

The overall two-wheeler and three-wheeler sales, including international business, grew by 28 per cent at 15.6 lakh units in Q4, against 12.16 lakh units registered in the year-ago quarter.

Motorcycle sales in Q4 grew by 23 per cent to 6.93 lakh units (5.64 lakh units). Scooter sales grew by 32 per cent to 6.60 lakh units (5.02 lakh units). Electric vehicles (EVs) grew by 51 per cent to 1.15 lakh units ( 0.76 lakh units). Three-wheeler sales grew by 65 per cent to 0.6 lakh units (0.37 lakh units), stated a release.

Highest sales

The company said it recorded highest ever sales of 58.9 lakh units registering growth of 24 per cent for the year ended March 2026 against 47.4 lakh units reported in the year-ago period.

Motorcycle sales during the fiscal year grew by 24 per cent to 27.13 lakh units; scooters grew by 27 per cent at 24.13 lakh units; EVs grew by 33 per cent to 3.71 lakh units and three-wheelers grew by 63 per cent to 2.19 lakh units, the release said.

TVS Motor has appointed Ravindran Shanmugam as an Additional Director and Non-Executive Independent Director for a period of five years, effective May 13. Shanmugam, 36 years, is the Co-founder and Executive Chairman of Mablle, an AI-enabled interior design and renovation platform in Singapore focused on transforming the home renovation industry through AI-driven workflows, digitised supply chain infrastructure, and technology-enabled execution, the release said.
