Tesla deepens India play with fourth experience centre in Bengaluru

EV car maker Tesla has opened its fourth experience centre in India in Bengaluru’s Whitefield.
Since entering India in July 2025, Tesla has opened experience centres in Mumbai, Delhi, and Gurugram, with Bengaluru emerging as its fourth key market. The company has sold over 340 vehicles in India so far, largely driven by the Model Y lineup, while also expanding charging and service infrastructure across major metros.

The 2026 Tesla Model Y L is a new 6-seater, long-wheelbase electric SUV launched in India at ₹61.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It features a 2+2+2 configuration with second-row captain seats, a 681 km range, and an extended, taller body for improved third-row space. Bookings are open, with deliveries beginning by June 2026.

Tesla India continues to invest in charging infrastructure to make the experience seamless and
practical for customers across the country. Tesla now operates 5 Supercharger stations, offering
20 Superchargers and 14 Wall Connectors across India. Tesla India plans to open Supercharger stations across highways to connect major cities, including Delhi, Chandigarh,Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai.

Elon Musk is also leading a proposed $20–$25 billion project called “Terafab” in Austin, Texas, aimed at internally designing and manufacturing AI and memory chips for Tesla vehicles, robots and space-based data centres.
