On tackling the oil crisis, he said, “So what India needs, one of the main lessons of this experience is that India needs to triple its strategic petroleum reserves. That’s one lesson; triple your strategic oil reserve. The other is diversity.” He further called the oil crisis “worst crisis the world is experiencing since World War II”.
