Fortis Healthcare Q4 PAT surges 44.2% to ₹271.2 cr; FY26 revenue up 17%

Fortis Healthcare has reported a 44.23 per cent rise in its consolidated profit after tax to ₹271.19 crore for the March 2026 quarter.

The company had posted a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹188.02 crore in the January-March period a year ago, according to a regulatory filing by Fortis Healthcare on Friday.

Its revenue from operations increased 17.8 per cent to ₹2,364.67 crore in the March quarter of FY26. This was ₹2,007.20 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.

Fortis Healthcare’s revenue from its Healthcare business grew 18.9 per cent to ₹2,023.23 crore.

“Revenue growth in the hospital business was driven by a 15 per cent increase in occupied beds in FY26 compared to FY25 and a 17 per cent increase in occupied beds in Q4 FY26 compared to Q4 FY25,” it said.

Its revenue from its diagnostics business increased 11.13 per cent to ₹387.26 crore.



Fortis Healthcare’s total expenses rose 17 per cent to ₹2,038.59 crore in the fourth quarter of FY26.

Its total income, which includes other income, climbed 16.87 per cent to ₹2,369.06 crore.

For the entire FY26, Fortis Healthcare’s net profit jumped 31.5 per cent to ₹1,064.19 crore. Its total consolidated income rose 17 per cent to ₹9,178.5 crore.

Commenting on the results, its MD and CEO Ashutosh Raghuvanshi said: “We have witnessed a steady business performance in Q4, enabling us to end the year on a healthy note. Our hospital business, which now contributes 85 per cent to our overall revenues, continues to do well. We have maintained our investment momentum in augmenting medical equipment and technology, adding to our clinical depth and expanding key medical programs”.

“In FY26, top 6 specialties have grown 19 per cent notably, among them being Renal Sciences and Orthopedics, which witnessed a growth of 22 per cent and 21 per cent, respectively.”
