MUMBAI: rose 46% to ?48,021 crore in FY26 from Rs 32,803 crore a year ago though number of reported fraud cases more than halved to 10,114 from 23,722, as per an report.
Although number of frauds for public and reduced, the amount involved has increased over the years. Number of frauds was highest under card, internet, and category in the past two financial years.
