Minda Corporation reports fire at Noida manufacturing facility; no casualties reported

Shares of Minda Corporation fell after the company informed exchanges that a fire broke out at its manufacturing facility in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on Saturday evening, triggering concerns over potential disruption to operations. The company said there were no casualties or injuries in the incident and that emergency response procedures were activated immediately to bring the situation under control with support from local fire authorities and emergency services.

In an exchange filing, Minda Corporation said the fire occurred at around 4:15 pm on May 30 at its plant located in Sector-59, Noida. The company added that its teams are working closely with local and state authorities to restore normalcy at the affected facility and that it will provide further updates once more verified information becomes available.

Minda Corporation said its immediate priority after the fire incident was ensuring the safety of all personnel and extending necessary support, adding that all employees have been safely accounted for and no casualties were reported.

The company said it is assessing the operational impact and extent of damage caused by the incident while maintaining safety and compliance standards. It added that the cause of the fire is under investigation in coordination with relevant authorities, and the company is extending necessary cooperation to the investigation.

“The company’s team is closely working and cooperating with the local and state authorities to restore normalcy at the affected facility. Emergency response procedures were activated immediately and the situation was brought under control with the support of the local fire authorities and emergency services,” the company said.
