Vedanta demerged entities to trade from June 15

The four newly carved-out companies — Vedanta Aluminium, Vedanta Power, Vedanta Oil & Gas and Vedanta Iron & Steel — from Anil Agarwal-led Vedanta will be listed for trading on BSE and NSE from June 15. The scrips will be in trade-for-trade segment for 10 trading days.

The parent company, Vedanta Ltd, will also remain listed, operating primarily as a base metals company representing Hindustan Zinc and Copper.

The demerger officially became effective on May 1. Eligible shareholders have received one equity share in each of the four newly listed businesses for every one Vedanta share held.
