Former Nomura banker Mangesh Ghogre joins BTIG

, a company, has appointed as a managing director in its Industrials group, where he will focus on coverage, the firm said on Wednesday.

“Mangesh will further strengthen our Industrials franchise, and we look forward to partnering with him to support clients across the sector,” said Jon Dever, head of Investment Banking at U.S. Bancorp | BTIG.

Ghogre brings more than two decades of global investment banking experience across the US and Asia, with expertise in building and managing senior client relationships in the metals, mining and minerals sectors.

Before joining BTIG, he was a managing director at , where he provided coverage to U.S. and Canadian metals, mining and industrial companies.

He previously founded , an advisory firm that provided capital-raising and to U.S. corporates across the industrials sector.



Earlier in his career, Ghogre served as regional head of Equity Capital Markets for Asia at , where he led initial public offerings, follow-on offerings and block trades. He began his investment banking career in Equity Capital Markets at HSBC in Asia.

BTIG’s Investment Banking and Capital Markets businesses advise clients and institutional investors on mergers and acquisitions, public offerings—including IPOs and follow-on offerings—private placements and PIPE transactions, convertible securities, debt and loan financing, share buybacks, and liquidity solutions.

U.S. Bancorp completed its acquisition of financial services firm BTIG, LLC, on June 1, 2026.
