Lannett Company LLC, an arm of , launched the generic version of Advair Diskus (fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation powder), a product of GSK plc, in the US market.
“This launch marks the first product from our inhalation pipeline to be commercialised in the US, reflecting our continued focus on expanding our portfolio of complex and differentiated inhalation products,’’ Hyderabad-based Aurobindo Pharma said in a release on Monday.
Advair Diskus in combination therapy is indicated for the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), it added.
