Murugappa Group company Carborundum Universal on Monday appointed Sriram Seshadri as the Chief Financial Officer effective the same day. Seshadri will also be a whole-time Key Managerial Personnel, the company said in a disclosure to the exchanges.
Seshadri, aged 55 years, has over 30 years of experience across leading automotive and industrial manufacturing organisations. A qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountant (CIMA), UK, Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), USA, and Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI), he has held several CFO and senior finance leadership positions including most recently as Vice President – Business Controller at Endurance Technologies.
He was previously the CFO of Woco India and Delphi TVS Technologies, and Director Finance at Tenneco India.
His expertise spans strategic finance, business partnering, treasury, financial planning & analysis, ERP transformation, compliance, taxation and stakeholder management.
The shares of the company were trading at ₹1101.35, down about 2.62 per cent at the time of writing.
