Maruti Suzuki announces third price hike since May, select models to get costlier

Maruti ​Suzuki India ‌said on
Monday ​it ⁠will raise prices of ‌select models ‌by ‌up ⁠to ₹20,000 ($211.80) ⁠from September, marking its ​third ‌hike
since May, as inflationary pressures ‌and elevated ​costs persist.

The carmaker’s ⁠previous two price ‌hikes were across its
portfolio, while the ‌latest increase ​will apply only ⁠to select
models.
