and HEG rallied sharply on Wednesday after global graphite electrode leader US-based GrafTech International announced a minimum 30 per cent price hike.
Graphite India shares surged 18.4 per cent to ₹870 in Wednesday’s session, moving closer to their eight-year high. At 12.53 pm, the stock was trading 17 per cent higher at ₹858.
HEG shares also gained sharply, climbing 5 per cent to ₹271.50 and hitting the upper circuit. At 12.55 pm, the stock was trading at ₹270.
The sharp gains in both stocks came after GrafTech International announced the minimum 30 per cent price increase.
