Shares of closed 7.05 per cent higher at ₹1,617.70 on the on Thursday, September 17, 2026, making it one of the top gainers in the electronics manufacturing services (EMS) space. The stock touched an intraday high of ₹1,658, with traded volume of 91.82 lakh shares and a traded value of ₹1,494.08 crore.
The rally was driven by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inauguration of SEMICON India 2026, held from September 17–19 at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi. The event, aimed at accelerating industry growth and positioning India as a global semiconductor hub, lifted shares of EMS companies across the board, with Syrma emerging as the top gainer.
Broader policy tailwinds have also supported the stock’s run this year. The Mobile Phone Manufacturing Scheme, launched in August 2026, and the Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme are both aimed at deepening domestic value addition in electronics — developments that have directly benefited EMS players like Syrma.
The stock’s year-to-date return stands at 124.65 per cent, sharply outpacing the Nifty 500’s decline of 5.25 per cent over the same period. Recent corporate developments include the inauguration of a 20,000 sq ft high-reliability electronics facility in Bengaluru on September 2 through its joint venture Syrma SGS Elemaster, and a management roadshow in the US from September 8–16.
At a P/E of 72.57, the stock trades at a significant premium, with its 52-week low at ₹634.50.
