Aurionpro Solutions Limited has secured a major contract from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) to implement Automated Fare Collection (AFC) systems for metro projects in Bhopal and Indore. The multi-year contract is valued at approximately ₹150 crore.
The Mumbai-based company will supply, implement, and maintain open-loop EMV card and QR-code-based AFC solutions for both metro projects under DMRC’s collaboration with Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRCL). The scope includes end-to-end implementation followed by comprehensive maintenance and support services over a five-year period.
The project aims to deploy standardized AFC systems to enhance commuter convenience, operational efficiency, and interoperability across the upcoming metro networks in Madhya Pradesh. Aurionpro’s solutions are based on open-loop and closed-loop EMV ticketing architecture, aligned with global payment compliances and India’s National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) norms.
