AXISCADES, MBDA expand defence partnership with new production facilities

AXISCADES Aerospace & Technologies has strengthened its decade-long partnership with European missile systems company MBDA, inaugurating an expanded test bench facility at its Aeroland campus in Devanahalli, Bengaluru, on November 6, 2025.

The new facility will enable mass production of advanced test benches for MBDA’s missile and launcher platforms. The expansion marks a significant scaling up from the partnership’s origins 10 years ago when the companies jointly developed test benches for the MICA missile.

AXISCADES is establishing a dedicated MBDA system integration centre at the Devanahalli Atmanirbhar Cluster in Bengaluru to accelerate missile technology localisation. The company also plans to set up a Missile Atmanirbhar Complex in Hyderabad for large-scale production of next-generation missile systems.

Florent Duleux, Group Director Export Sales at MBDA, said the new facilities would strengthen Make in India objectives and support MBDA’s global demand. Dr. Sampath Ravinarayanan, Founder Chairman and Managing Director of AXISCADES, emphasised the partnership’s alignment with India’s missile production ecosystem goals.

AXISCADES, a subsidiary of AXISCADES Technologies Limited, provides defence, aerospace and strategic electronics solutions. The Bangalore-headquartered company employs over 3,000 professionals across 17 global locations and works with Indian defence forces, the Ministry of Defence, and global original equipment manufacturers.

The shares of AXISCADES Aerospace & Technologies Ltd were trading at ₹1,400.60 down by ₹73.70 or 5 per cent staying on the lower band on the NSE today at 3.20 pm.
