AXISCADES subsidiary wins ₹100 crore defence radar contract

announced today that its subsidiary Mistral Solutions has secured a ₹100 crore contract from India’s LLTR Ashwini programme, an indigenous low-level transportable radar system developed by DRDO and BEL.

The contract involves supplying signal and data processing units with associated spares over a two-year period.

The Bengaluru-based company, which operates in aerospace, defence, electronics, semiconductor and artificial intelligence sectors, said the deal positions Mistral as a key player in India’s defence electronics indigenisation efforts.

The processing units will support low-altitude surveillance against unmanned aerial vehicles, helicopters and fighter jets.

C. Manikandan, CEO of Mistral Solutions, said the contract reflects the subsidiary’s commitment to supporting India’s defence indigenisation initiatives and contributing to next-generation military systems.

The liquid-cooled signal and data processing units are designed to meet extreme operational demands, showcasing Mistral’s capabilities in embedded computing for radar platforms.

The shares of AXISCADES Technologies Limited were trading on the today at ₹1,252.70 down by ₹28.50 or 2.22 per cent at 11.48 am.
