Cyient Semiconductors partners with Anora to build test facility in Bangalore

has announced a strategic partnership with Anora to expand turnkey test and validation solutions for semiconductor products. The collaboration will establish a new semiconductor validation and production test facility in Bangalore, India.

The partnership combines Cyient Semiconductors’ expertise in custom ASIC/ASSP and intelligent power solutions with Anora’s semiconductor test and validation services. The companies will provide end-to-end solutions spanning architecture, design, silicon bring-up, qualification, and testing.

The new facility will feature clean room capabilities and production equipment including probers, engineering and production handlers, automated test equipment platforms, and thermal solutions. This infrastructure will complement Anora’s existing clean room facility in Allen, Texas.

“Semiconductor companies are looking for fewer hand-offs and more integrated partners,” said Suman Narayan, CEO of Cyient Semiconductors. The partnership aims to reduce inefficiencies and delays typically associated with working across multiple service providers.

Hari Chandran, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Anora, stated the collaboration will enable customers to “move faster, reduce risk, and achieve production readiness with confidence” by integrating design capabilities with post-silicon validation and test services.

Founded in 2008, Anora has completed over 2,800 projects for more than 50 global customers. Cyient Semiconductors operates design centers in India, Belgium, and the United States, serving customers in data centers, robotics, automotive, and industrial automation sectors.
