The shares of ICICI Bank were trading on the NSE today at ₹1,377.10 up by ₹13.70 or 1 per cent at 11.45 am.
ICICI Bank and Visa unveiled the Corporate Sapphiro Forex Card, marking the first time a bank in Asia has offered a prepaid card powered by Visa Infinite, the payment network’s premium platform.
The forex card targets entrepreneurs and corporate leaders travelling internationally for work, combining prepaid convenience with premium benefits. Customers can load and transact in 15 currencies with zero cross-currency markup charges, enabling travel across multiple countries even with a single loaded currency.
Card benefits include two complimentary international airport lounge visits, meet-and-assist services and a complimentary international eSIM card. The package, valued at over ₹15,000, also features three monthly ATM fee waivers and preferential rates with global hotel chains and airlines. Each welcome kit includes both a primary card and a backup replacement card.
ICICI Bank has introduced an end-to-end digital application process through its InstaBIZ business banking app, allowing entrepreneurs and sole proprietors with current accounts to apply, activate and load the card instantly. The service will expand to large corporate employees and be available on Corporate Internet Banking shortly.
The card carries a joining fee of ₹2,999 plus GST. Vipul Agarwal, Head of Cards & Payment Solutions at ICICI Bank, said the innovation addresses the growing international expansion of Indian businesses. The partnership demonstrates both companies’ focus on business payment innovation and curated customer experiences for the corporate travel segment.
