Chennai headquartered IT services company KaarTech has raised $11 million in a Series B primary funding round led by Playbook Partners.
The company said the capital will support acquisitions in data engineering and analytics.
KaarTech said it plans to use the funds to expand its enterprise operating system platform across applications, data and cloud.
The company reported revenue growth over the last five years and said it crossed ₹1,000 crore in revenue during the period.
KaarTech said its platform KTern.AI supports enterprise transformation programmes and embeds governance in project execution.
Founder and chief executive officer Maran Nagarajan said the funding will support the company’s next phase of growth.
“This raise marks a defining chapter in KaarTech’s journey towards an IPO,” he said.
He added that the company is driving a shift toward an outcome-led enterprise operating system and that the partnership with Playbook Partners will help accelerate its global growth.

Choudhury said the company has operations in the United States, Europe and West Asia. He added that the firm sees demand for AI-enhanced enterprise technology capabilities across industries.
KaarTech, its promoters and existing investor A91 Partners were advised by Veda Corporate Advisors on the transaction.
Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Chennai, KaarTech said it has delivered more than 3,300 projects for enterprises including Saudi Aramco. The company said it has more than 3,000 employees across 15 regions.
