announced on Monday the launch of IGNITE, a comprehensive engagement program designed to support India’s mutual fund distributor ecosystem. The program targets banks, national distributors, mutual fund distributors (MFDs), and Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs).
The -based technology firm, which is India’s largest investor solutions provider to mutual funds by number of AMCs serviced, positions IGNITE as a shift from being a transaction partner to a transformation ally for distributors.
The program offers dedicated relationship managers for personalized support, faster service turnaround times, and access to digital platforms including IRIS, the company’s integrated app for financial intermediaries, and KFin KRA for streamlined onboarding.
Managing Director and CEO Sreekanth Nadella said the initiative addresses distributor challenges in a rapidly evolving digital investment landscape, describing it as a long-term partnership rather than a one-time program.
The launch comes as India’s mutual fund industry is projected to reach ₹80 lakh crore in assets under management by 2030. KFin Technologies cited changing investor expectations for lower costs, faster digital experiences, and transparent service as drivers for the program.
The company said the initiative is expected to improve service delivery particularly in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets, contributing to broader investor inclusion and market penetration. KFin Technologies is listed on NSE and BSE, with General Atlantic Singapore Fund as its promoter.
