Kwality Wall’s India has made its first key governance move post-acquisition, naming The Magnum Ice Cream Company (TMICC) CFO Abhijit Bhattacharya as Chairperson and adding senior regional executive Tahir Toloy Tanridagli to its board, as the firm looks to sharpen its strategy and scale in India’s fast-evolving ice-cream market.
Both appointments are effective March 30, following TMICC HoldCo’s acquisition of a controlling 61.9 per cent stake.
Bhattacharya, a former Philips executive with nearly four decades of global experience, brings deep expertise in large-scale transformations and corporate carve-outs, while Tanridagli, who heads the company’s METSA markets, has over two decades of experience across Unilever and Kraft-Mondelez spanning ice cream, packaged foods, and beverages.
