Market watch: Advance Agrolife shares retreat, Om Freight falters & Sheel Biotech shines as 10 IPOs enter market today

The domestic market witnessed a flurry of new listings on October 8, 2025, namely — Advance Agrolife, Om Freight Forwarders (mainboard), Sheel Biotech, B A G Convergence, Munish Forge (NSE Emerge), Zelio E Mobility, Chiraharit, Sunsky Logistics, Infinity Infoway and Valplast Technologies (BSE SME)— delivering a mix of premiums and discounts.

Advance Agrolife

Following a modest debut, Advance Agrolife skid to its lower circuit.

The stock listed at ₹114 on the , a 14 per cent premium over its ₹100 issue price, and at ₹113 on the BSE, a 13 per cent premium. At 12 noon, the stock shed listing gains and traded at the lower circuit of ₹108.30 and ₹107.35 on the NSE and BSE, respectively.

Shivani Nyati, Head of Wealth at Swastika Investmart, advised investors to book partial profits after the good listing gains and hold the remaining shares with a stop-loss set at ₹105 to ride potential medium-term upside.

The company’s 193-crore IPO floated a fully fresh issue of 1.93 crore shares in the price band of ₹95 to ₹100, and received 56.85 times overall subscription.

Om Freight Forwarders

Another mainboard IPO Om Freight Forwarders’ debuted on bourses. The stock had a disappointing start at 39-40 per cent discount below the IPO price of ₹135, opening at ₹81.50 on the NSE and ₹82.50 on the BSE.



At 12.10 pm, the stock scaled 5 per cent to hit the upper band of ₹85.57 and ₹86.60 on the NSE and BSE, respectively. 

The IPO, which closed on October 3, was priced between ₹128 and ₹135 and carried an issue size of ₹122.31 crore. The issue was oversubscribed by 3.87 times, with QIB, retail, and NII portions seeing strong demand.

Sheel Biotech

Shares of Sheel Biotech had a strong start on the NSE Emerge platform and zoomed nearly 52 per cent to ₹95.55 (its upper cirucit) after listing at ₹91 against the offer price of ₹63.

The SME offering, at ₹59–₹63 price band, and saw robust subscription over 15 times.

B A G Convergence

B A G Convergence traded with 22 per cent listing gains at ₹106.05 on the NSE Emerge platform after opening at ₹101, a 16 per cent premium over its IPO price of ₹87.

The 48.72 crore IPO drew moderate response with 1.38 times subscription, at a price band of ₹82–₹87 band.

Munish Forge

Munish Forge shares also soared to their upper limit of ₹110.25 on the NSE SME platform, after listing at ₹105 (a 9.4 per cent premium) against the IPO price of ₹96.

Its ₹74-crore IPO attracted healthy subscription of over 3 times.

Zelio E-Mobility

Zelio E-Mobility shares debuted 14 per cent above ₹136-IPO price at ₹154.90 on the BSE SME platform. The stock surged to its upper circuit of ₹162.60 in the mid-trading session.

The issue saw an overall demand of 1.5 times on the closing day.

Chiraharit

Chiraharit fell to trade at its lower circuit of ₹15.96, after debuting on the BSE SME at ₹16.80, reflecting a 20 per cent discount compared to its IPO price of ₹21.

The ₹31-crore IPO was a fixed-price SME offering and had drawn moderate interest with 1.88 times subscription.

Sunsky Logistics

Sunsky Logistics zoomed to trade 16 per above the ₹46-IPO price at ₹53.55 (its upper circuit). It listed at ₹50 on the BSE SME exchange, representing an 8.7 per cent premium. The IPO had attracted 1.44 times subscription across investor categories.

Infinity Infoway

Infinity Infoway made an aggressive listing on BSE SME, debuting at ₹294.50 and scaling 99 per cent higher over the IPO price of ₹155 to ₹309.20, its upper circuit.

The ₹24.42-cr IPO saw massive subscription of 277 times, driven by strong retail participation.

Valplast Technologies

Valplast Technologies’ locked in the upper circuit of ₹59.85, 11 per cent above the IPO price of ₹54. The stock listed on the BSE SME at ₹57. The ₹28-crore IPO saw a subscription of 1.19 times.

As markets digest this wave of listings, the mix of sharp premiums, discounts, and wide variations in subscription reflect both sector-specific investor sentiment and broader caution in today’s volatile trading environment.
