KMF hikes Nandini milk prices by ₹8 a litre from November 1
KMF raises Nandini milk price by ₹8 per litre from Nov 1 to fund farmers and operations, marking fifth hike in recent years.

The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF), which sells milk under the Nandini brand, has announced a ₹8-per-litre increase in milk prices, with the revised rates set to take effect from November 1.
businessline had earlier reported that the Cabinet had cleared the proposal to raise prices as dairy unions grapple with rising input costs and a widening gap between Karnataka’s milk procurement rates and those in neighbouring States.
Of the ₹8 increase, ₹7 will go to the farmers, and ₹1 will to the KMF.
The announcement came a day after the Legislative Council election results were declared, with the Model Code of Conduct having been in force ahead of the polls.
The revision would mark the fifth Nandini milk price increase in recent years. Prices were raised by ₹3 a litre in November 2022, another ₹3 in July 2023, ₹2 in June 2024 and ₹4 in March 2025.
