Chennai and US-based Rocketlane, an AI-powered professional services automation platform has raised $60 million in a Series C funding round led by Insight Partners.
The latest round brought the total capital raised by the firm to $105 million which included the $24million Series-B round in 2024. The Series B round was co-led by 8VC, Matrix Partners India, and Nexus Venture Partners.
Speaking to businessline, Srikrishnan Ganesan, co-founder and CEO, Rocketlane said that the company will use the proceeds from the fundraise to expand the capabilities of Nitro, the company’s new agentic execution platform for professional services teams. It had launched Nitro as a private beta in December 2025, before a full commercial launch in March 2026.
“The goal is to allow professional service teams to distill a bunch of processes like documentation, configuration, data transformation and validation using agents,” he said. He added that by using AI for these processes, services teams can unlock radical efficiency of over 50 per cent.
Increasing Clientele
The funding also follows a year of strong momentum for Rocketlane, during which the company grew its revenue 2.25X times, and opened new offices in London, New York, and San Francisco, and also saw average deal size increase 4.5X.
In terms of customer mix, Ganesan said that the US continues to be the company’s major market while it has seen strong early traction in the UK, where it established a new team recently.
Interestingly, Rocketlane is also bullish on India as a growth market, as they anticipate that their agentic product may be of value to even the IT services majors. “There is a lot of interest but the agentic product is fairly new,” Ganesan said. In addition, the product is also a fit for management consulting firms, ESG consulting firms, accounting, projects, or legal services.
Upward Movement
“Rocketlane’s AI-first platform enables professional services teams to scale their impact without scaling headcount. We’re proud to back a company that more than 25 of our portfolio companies already trust and whose customers include some of the most exciting and innovative AI-native companies,” Apoorva Goyal, Principal at Insight Partners, said in a statement.
“The fundraise comes at a time when the last two years have been fabulous for us. We’ve gone upmarket considerably, and been winning public companies as customers,” Ganesan said.
Rocketlane now serves more than 750 customers globally, including 17 companies on the Forbes Cloud 100 list. Customers include Intercom, Glean and Notion. The company has more than 220 people, and growing with around 170 in Chennai, where its product and engineering is based out of.
