Royal Orchid & Regenta Hotels Ltd. announced on Monday the signing of Regenta Place Udaipur, a 43-room property in Nakoda Nagar, Udaipur. The hotel is scheduled to open in March 2026.
The property will be operated under a hotel management agreement as part of the company’s asset-light expansion strategy. It is being developed by Mokkshi Hospitality & Services, owned by Amit Jain.
The hotel will feature a 7,000 square foot indoor banquet hall and a 30,000 square foot landscaped lawn, targeting the wedding and social events market. The facility is designed to serve both leisure travelers and large-scale celebrations in Udaipur’s wedding circuit.
Chander K. Baljee, Chairman and Managing Director of Royal Orchid & Regenta Hotels, said Udaipur represents a high-potential market for leisure and destination weddings. He noted the signing strengthens the company’s portfolio in Rajasthan and aligns with its focus on properties with strong social and events-led demand.
Amit Jain, owner of Mokkshi Hospitality & Services, said the partnership would leverage Royal Orchid’s brand strength and operational expertise.
Royal Orchid & Regenta Hotels operates 5-star, 4-star hotels and resorts across India. The Regenta brand includes multiple categories: Regenta, Regenta Central, Regenta Resort, Regenta Place, Regenta Inn, and Regenta Z.
The shares of Royal Orchid Hotels Limited were trading at ₹374.80 down by ₹4.35 or 1.15 per cent on the NSE today at 2.30 pm.
