SBICAP Securities Ltd. has appointed Bhuvaneshwari A. as its Managing Director and CEO, effective November 1, 2025. The announcement was made today by the State Bank of India group company.
Bhuvaneshwari brings over 30 years of banking experience to the role, having joined SBI as a Probationary Officer in 1994. Most recently, she served as Chief General Manager of SBI’s Thiruvananthapuram Circle, where she managed operations across more than 1,200 branches and drove growth in retail credit, deposits and market share.
Prior to that appointment, she held the position of General Manager at SBI’s Corporate Centre Redesign Studio, focusing on operational improvements and customer experience enhancement.
Focus on digital growth
In her new role, Bhuvaneshwari outlined plans to transform SBICAP Securities into a digitally driven, customer-focused investment services firm. Her priorities include strengthening technology platforms, expanding product offerings and improving research accessibility for investors.
SBICAP Securities operates as a full-service stockbroker in India, providing equity trading, derivatives and mutual fund services. The company leverages its association with State Bank of India, the country’s largest public-sector bank, to deliver investment solutions across the market.
Bhuvaneshwari holds a postgraduate degree in Public Administration and has certifications from the Indian Institute of Bankers and as a Financial Planner.
