Benchmark stock market indices lost over 1% on Tuesday to end lower as cautious sentiment prevailed a day before US President Donald Trump’s additional 25% tariff comes into effect tomorrow.
The S&P BSE Sensex tanked 849.37 points to close at 80,786.54, while the NSE Nifty50 lost 255.70 points to end at 24,712.05.
