Venu Srinivasan, currently the Chairman Emeritus and Managing Director, , has been re-designated as Chairman and Managing Director of the company with immediate effect. This follows the stepping down of R Gopalan as Chairman of the company.
A company announcement to the stock exchange said that Gopalan has stepped down from his position with immediate effect and will continue as Non-Executive Independent Director of the company.
At the time of filing this report, the company’s share price on the NSE was trading at ₹1,237.30, down by ₹45.90 (-3.58 per cent).
