The 8th Central Pay Commission has announced its next round of stakeholder consultations, this time in Jaipur. The Commission will meet eligible employee associations and unions from Rajasthan at the end of August as part of its ongoing exercise to gather suggestions before finalising its recommendations.
The meetings are scheduled for August 31 and September 1, 2026.
According to the , the Jaipur meetings are meant only for associations, federations and unions of Central government and Union Territory employees that are located or registered in Rajasthan.
However, only those organisations that have already submitted their memorandum to the Commission and have not interacted with it earlier are eligible to seek an appointment.
Eligible associations and unions can submit their request for an interaction with the Commission until August 18, 2026.
The application must be submitted online along with the unique ‘Memo ID’ that was generated when the memorandum was filed.
The Commission said the venue and meeting time will be shared with the selected stakeholders through email.
The Commission has also said that similar meetings will be organised in other states and Union Territories over the coming months.

For now, the Commission has clarified that the Jaipur meetings are meant only for stakeholders from Rajasthan, and organisations from other states should wait for the announcement of meetings in their respective regions.
The stakeholder meetings are part of the ‘s consultation process. During these interactions, employee associations and unions can present their views and highlight issues affecting Central government and Union Territory employees.
The feedback received from these meetings, along with the memorandums submitted by stakeholders, will help the Commission prepare its recommendations on pay, allowances and other service-related matters for Central government employees and pensioners.
