Ramco Cements has received approval from Government of Andhra Pradesh, for the purpose of including Quartzite Mineral in the existing mining lease for limestone held by the Company in Kalavataka and Kotapadu Villages, Kolimigundla Mandal, Nandyal District, Andhra Pradesh.  The quantum of mineable quartzite reserves has not yet been determined. The quartzite proposed to be extracted is intended to be utilised for manufactured sand and pozzolanic additives in the cement industry, or for any other industrial use that may arise in future.

Tourism Finance Corporation of India Limited (TFCI) on Sunday said it will act as co-sponsor and an anchor investor of Holystone Hospitality Fund — an equity-focussed Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) — up to 5 per cent of the corpus. The company has filed an application for registration of Holystone Hospitality Fund as an AIF with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) recently, TFCI said in a regulatory filing

HPCL has successfully commissioned the Residue Upgradation Facility (RUF) at its 15 MMTPA Visakh Refinery. With a capacity of 3.55 MMTPA, RUF employs advanced LC-Max based residue hydrocracking technology to achieve about 93 per cent conversion of bottom oils into high-value products. Visakh Refinery will now have the capability of enhancing its distillate yield by up to 10% (from recent pre-capacity expansion levels). The Gross Refining Margins (GRMs) of the Visakh Refinery are set to increase substantially on account of superior product slate, flexibility to process many heavier or opportunity crudes, and higher value realisation per barrel.

AGI Infra Ltd has announced that a Commercial Project in the name of “Urbana Square” situated at Village Pholriwal, Jalandhar, Punjab, has been launched on Saturday.  The Commercial Project will comprise 142 units of Commercial Shops and 218 units of Office Spaces. Booking for the project has commenced from Saturday, January 3.

SPML Infra has secured an arbitration award amounting to Rs. 21.61 Crore from Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (CMWSSB). The arbitration award is in favour of the Company and is subject to the terms and conditions as stipulated in the award.

KPI Green Energy Limited is pleased to announce that its 92.15 MWp IPP Hybrid Power Project, awarded by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd under the competitive bidding process for hybrid renewable energy projects, has commenced power generation and supply to the state grid. The project, with GUVNL as off-taker, has an aggregate contracted capacity of 92.15 MWp, comprising 16.95 MW of wind power capacity and 75.2 MWp solar power capacity. The project has achieved grid synchronisation, and power injection into the grid has commenced, well ahead of the scheduled project completion timeline of July 2026, reflecting the Company’s strong execution capabilities and integrated project development expertise.
