BASF, a global chemical company, will open two global hubs in Hyderabad. The two hubs – Global Service Hub and Global Digital Hub – will come up in Hyderabad in the second quarter of 2026.
BASF executives exchanged the Letter of Intent (LOI) with Sarvesh Singh, Chief Executive Officer of Telangana Lifesciences.
The two hubs, which will be run by BASF Global Business Services Private Limited, will serve as integrated centres supporting the company’s global operations across key functions, including finance, human resources, supply chain, regulatory services, and in-house consulting. “The hubs will play a central role in standardising processes, driving operational efficiency, and enabling digital transformation across the company’s global business units,” a Government statement said here on Tuesday.
The 160-year-old German company has operations in over 200 countries and 234 factories in different countries. The company, with revenues of $60 billion, has over 1.08 lakh employees.
“Hyderabad stands among the fastest-growing Global Capability Centre hubs in the country. It added over 75 GCCs last year. We have set a target to attract over 100 new GCCs this year with a potential to generate one lakh jobs this year,” Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Minister for Information Technology and Industries, said.
