Amazon did not respond to questions on the death of the two workers.

According to the FIR registered on June 11, 2026, the workers were trapped inside the warehouse and allegedly were unable to escape because the main shutter was locked from the outside.

Residential purposes

The warehouse premises were being utilised for residential purposes.
