Aastha Spintex has received registration from the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) for installation of a rooftop solar PV system with a capacity of 1,000 kW AC and 1,350 kW DC (1.35 MW DC) at its Falcon Yarns’ manufacturing facility at Rajkot in Gujarat.
The GEDA registration was issued under the Gujarat Integrated Renewable Energy Policy – 2025 for the industrial/commercial category.
The project has now progressed to on-site execution with Module Mounting Structure (MMS) marking completion of 70 per cent of work and 40 per cent completion of MMS installation work. The development marks the next stage in execution of the rooftop solar project following completion of the regulatory registration process.
Divyang Jashwant Patel, Managing Director, Aastha Spintex said the completion of the GEDA registration and commencement of on-site execution marks an important milestone in the development of the rooftop solar project at Falcon Yarns.
“With the Module Mounting Structure work progressing steadily, we are moving forward with the project as planned. The initiative forms part of our efforts to strengthen the operational infrastructure of our expanded manufacturing platform,” he said.
