ABD Maestro Private Limited, the super-premium spirits arm of , launched three whiskies in on Monday. The newly introduced labels — AODH Irish Whiskey, WOODBURNS Contemporary Indian Whisky, and YELLO Designer Whisky — mark the company’s formal entry into the state.
All three labels are now available at retail outlets in Hyderabad. AODH, a triple-distilled Irish whiskey, is priced at ₹3,470 for a 750ml bottle. WOODBURNS, which won the Revelation Blended Whisky Award and Grand Gold at the 27th Spirit Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles in 2025, retails at ₹2,500. YELLO, billed as a blend of Scotch and Indian malts, is priced at ₹2,630. The brands will also be stocked at premium bars and restaurants in the city.
ABD Maestro is co-founded by Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and operates as a subsidiary of Allied Blenders & Distillers, which the company describes as India’s largest domestic spirits company by sales volume.
Managing Director Bikram Basu said Telangana’s consumers were increasingly seeking quality over volume, citing the state’s growing pub and restaurant culture and a young demographic open to global spirits. The company also flagged expansion beyond Hyderabad, pointing to cities including Warangal, Karimnagar, and Nizamabad as target markets for its super-premium portfolio.
