AI-content startup Flam bags $40 million in its Series B led by QED Investor

AI- interactive content company Flam has raised a $40 million in its Series B led by QED Investors. The funding will be utlised to for AI research and development, expanding the product suite and scaling enterprise sales, said the company.

The round also saw participation from Claypond Capital, Australian Gulf Capital, SRK Family Office, Martin Chavez, Venky Harinarayan and Olivier Pomel. Existing investors RTP Global and Dovetail both followed on in the round.

The company says enterprise order book stands strong with Flam signing over 100 enterprise customers in six quarters, with its clientile including Google, Reliance and Hyundai. Its interactive content is being used across marketing, product visualisation, learning and development, entertainment.

The company holds more than 15 patents and offers three formats, Flicks, Airboards and Visual Agents. The fresh capital will go towards R&D on Flam’s AI models, expanding the product suite and scaling enterprise sales globally.

Prior to this, the company had raised $15 million in April last year. Founded in 2021, Flam is, building content that responds and streams as fast as video. The company is headquartered in San Francisco, with teams in India and Japan, Flam holds 5 AI models.
