Commercial vehicle manufacturer has announced the launch of twin-fuel variants of its popular Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) – DOST and DOST+ XL.

“The launch of our TWIN FUEL DOST and DOST+ XL is a significant step in our journey towards sustainable and customer-focused innovation. These vehicles empower operators to drive in the cleaner and greener CNG mode and switch to Petrol as a backup fuel when required, ensuring overall lower operating costs and reduced emissions,” Amandeep Singh, President – LCV, IO, Defence & Power Solutions, Ashok Leyland, said:
The Twin Fuel DOST has a payload capacity of 1218 kg and a driving range of 400 km, supported by a 120-litre CNG tank and an additional 5-litre petrol tank. The Twin Fuel DOST+ XL offers a payload capacity of 1410 kg, CNG capacity of 148 litres and an additional petrol capacity of 5 litres, delivering a range of 500 km.
The Twin Fuel DOST starts at ₹8.20 Lakh (ex-showroom) while the Twin Fuel DOST + XL starts at ₹8.75 lakh (ex-showroom).
