Avio Smart Market Stack Limited, formerly known as Bartronics India Limited, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Tripura to set up a freeze-drying facility for fresh fruits and vegetables. The company announced today.
The project, titled “A Freeze-Drying Initiative on Fruits and Vegetables for Tripura,” is expected to generate direct employment for around 500 people and indirect employment for another 800, bringing the total projected job creation to approximately 1,300.
The MoU was signed at the Destination Tripura Business Conclave 2026, organised by the state’s Department of Industries and Commerce. During the conclave, Dr. Raja Krishna Murthy M, Head of Agri Tech Business at ASMS, met with Tripura Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha, who reportedly appreciated the company’s proposed initiative.
The facility aims to address post-harvest losses by extending shelf life of locally grown produce and improving access to domestic and international markets, with the broader goal of strengthening Tripura’s horticulture value chain.
On the NSE, the shares were trading at ₹7.10, up 0.71 per cent as of mid-morning today. The stock has significantly underperformed over the past year, down nearly 49 per cent against the Nifty 50’s 3.89 per cent decline over the same period. The company carries a market capitalisation of approximately ₹216 crore.
Avio Smart Market Stack, which operates across six countries, describes itself as an IT services and business solutions provider with interests spanning digital transformation, sustainable agriculture, and climate technologies.
