Murugappa Group company Carborundum Universal on Thursday reported a consolidated loss after tax and non-controlling interest at ₹17.6 crore for Q4FY26 compared to profit of ₹29 crore in Q4FY25. Revenue from operations went up 15 per cent to ₹1,398 crore as against ₹1,217 crore in the same quarter last year.
For the full year FY26, profit after tax and non-controlling interest stood at ₹195 crore as against ₹293 crore in FY25. Revenue for the full year FY26 went up to ₹5,206 crore (₹4,894 crore).
As for the company’s various segments, consolidated sales for electro minerals in Q4FY26 stood at ₹427 crore, a growth of 14 per cent compared to the same quarter last year.
For the abrasives segment, consolidated sales in the quarter went up 13.4 per cent to ₹610 crore while for the ceramics segment consolidated sales went up to ₹351 crore, a growth of 18.6 per cent.
The Board of Directors of the Carborundum Universal has recommended a final dividend of ₹2.5 per share to the shareholders of the company.
Carborandum Universal shares on NSE closed at ₹1,040 on Thursday, up ₹6.7 or 0.65 per cent.
