US-based PepsiCo said that India was among the key growth contributors for its international foods business in the Q1 CY2026 period. The snacks and beverage major said that the convenient foods segment delivered six per cent organic revenue growth in terms of international business in the quarter under review.
Commenting on the performance of the international business, the company said, “Convenient foods delivered 6 per cent organic revenue growth, while beverages delivered 4.5 per cent organic revenue growth. Convenient foods organic revenue growth was aided by markets including Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, India, Egypt, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, China and Pakistan.”
On Asia-Pacific Foods business unit , the company said unit volume grew 9 per cent, which primarily reflected growth in India and China.
On the earnings call, Ramon Laguarta, Chairman & CEO, PepsiCo said: “The international business is very strategic to our long-term growth strategy and is one of the key pillars. It has been accelerating… and it continues to accelerate.” He added that the company has not seen any impact of the West Asia conflict on demand due to its strong commercial programmes and supply chain management.
The snacks and beverage major released its earnings for the 12 weeks period ended March 21, 2026 on Thursday.
“The current macroeconomic environment has become more volatile and uncertain, and we will focus on controlling what we can, which includes innovation, execution, brand building, productivity and disciplined capital allocation,” the company’s management noted in prepared remarks.
