US-based General Mills Inc has named Anjali Singh as Head of Global Business Solutions. The company is known for brands such as Pilsbur, Betty Crocker and Haagen-Daz.
“Singh will head General Mills’ Global Business Solutions globally while anchoring the India Centre as site lead. This move strengthens the India Centre’s significance as a talent hub and strategic engine for global capability building and business growth,” a statement added. The company’s India Centre is its global capability centre which is located in Mumbai.
Singh brings over 25 years of experience in leading strategic operations and digital innovation across sectors like banking, financial services, telecom and consulting. She was most recently Global Business Head at Ericsson.
“Building on a rich heritage and a clear, future-focused vision, I am thrilled to join General Mills and look forward to strengthening our global capability building to power our next chapter of success,” Singh said.
The appointment reinforces the company’s commitment to its General Mills India Centre as a Global Capability Centre and strategic hub for talent and innovation, the statement added.
